South Jersey United Football Club, a non-profit 501c3 soccer club, is the first girls only soccer club in New Jersey.  For questions about our program feel free to email at info@sjufc.com or call our office at 856-817-1115.

SJUFC Mission Statement

SJUFC will foster a safe, positive, professional player centered approach for our student athletes that focuses’ on development of individual player and person as a whole.  SJUFC provides a unique environment that is both physically and mentally challenging, stimulating players to reach their potential.  SJUFC strives to attain a national reputation as one of the premier girl’s youth soccer clubs in the country.

SJUFC Philosophy

While we emphasize the importance of winning soccer games, from a coaching stand point, long term player development is at the main focus of the club.  SJUFC members will be regarded as individuals first within a large group environment, placed in programs that specifically meet their requirements and ability levels.  SJUFC will develop confident mature players who produce an attacking style of possession soccer, integrated with solid individual technical skill and creativity, with a relentless appetite for hard work.  An aggressive desire for victory combined with the procedural and graduated development of soccer skills through exceptional coaching and advanced techniques, is of paramount importance.  Nevertheless, realization by all that soccer remains only a game is an inherent aspect of the philosophy of SFUFC that must always be recognized.

SJUFC Core Values

SJUFC promotes the development of communication, good sportsmanship and teamwork necessary for the academic achievement and good citizenship.  Through detailed programs and professional technical staff, SJUFC aims to instill three core values (the A,B,C's of soccer) into all of it members;

1.      Attitude; maintain a positive attitude without the “fear of failure”.

2.      Belief; belief in their ability encourages players to “reach higher”.

3.      Commitment; great learning requires the active engagement of the learner.  The quality and development of a player is in direct proportion to her commitment to her goals.

CONGRATULATIONS SJUFC U14s
Congratulations to our U14 Comets for ending their summer with a championship at the TBAA Preseason Kick-Off Tournament. The girls played in three tournaments this summer, and were finalists in one tournamament and champions in the other two, adding their win at TBAA to the championship they won at the West Chester Summer Classic. We wish the team luck as they continue to prepare for their upcoming fall season. The team will compete in both JAGS and PAGS this fall.
Comet Cross Training
SJUFC has formed a union with the Martial Arts Fitness Center in Marlton, to create a unique cross-training program that incorporates maritial arts training as part of our curriculum. Our U14 Comets are pictured below with Bryan Preston, Head Instructor and Co-Owner of the Center, at their last Fall session. The players are looking forward to resuming their Martial Arts training in a few months, when our winter session begins.
